And the great aspect for marketers is that they have a new way of providing analytics. I believe that it is an exciting field.  Bottom line is that it is permission-based marketing.  That makes a HUGE difference in building relationships with people.  Imagine a concert where short code is given on a banner behind band offering free t-shirt for first 500 who text in the short code.  Bingo...people have their cell phones at the concert and they grant permission for you to text market the in the future.  They can also press STOP if they don't want to hear from you anymore.  A huge and credible marketing list can be built in seconds! Greatest thing since sliced bread (as we would say in the south where I grew up!) ... thanks for visiting again, Bill!
